1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Postrr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Postrr.

2. Description of Service

Postrr is an AI-powered caption optimization and content management platform. The Service allows users to:

• Connect TikTok accounts via OAuth 2.0 authentication
• Generate AI-optimized caption variations for engagement, SEO, and tone
• Publish videos and photo slideshows to TikTok through the official Content Posting API
• Manage multiple TikTok accounts from a single dashboard

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding legal agreement to use the Service. By using Postrr, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

4. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. TikTok Account Connection

When you connect your TikTok account:

• You authorize Postrr to access your TikTok profile and publish content on your behalf through TikTok's official API
• You retain full ownership of your TikTok account and all content
• Content is only published when you explicitly confirm via the preview and consent step
• You can revoke access at any time through TikTok's app settings or within Postrr

6. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• All content you publish through the Service, including AI-modified captions you approve
• Ensuring you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to publish your content
• Reviewing and approving AI-generated caption suggestions before publishing
• Complying with TikTok's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and all applicable laws
• Properly disclosing commercial content, paid partnerships, and AI-generated content as required by TikTok and applicable regulations

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Postrr to:

• Publish content that violates TikTok's Community Guidelines or any applicable law
• Distribute spam, misleading, or deceptive content
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights of any third party
• Publish content promoting illegal activities, violence, or hatred
• Circumvent TikTok's rate limits, posting restrictions, or platform policies
• Copy or redistribute content from other platforms without authorization
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates the TikTok Developer Terms of Service

8. AI Features

Our AI caption optimization features use large language models to suggest caption variations, hashtags, and tone adjustments. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated captions are suggestions only and require your review and approval
• You are solely responsible for the final content you choose to publish
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or effectiveness of AI suggestions
• AI-generated content should be disclosed as such per TikTok's policies when applicable

9. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to content you upload and publish. By using the Service, you grant Postrr a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license terminates when you delete your account.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. TikTok API availability is outside our control and may affect functionality. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by TikTok's platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Postrr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to: content rejected by TikTok, account restrictions or bans imposed by TikTok, lost revenue, or data loss.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
